In the Executive Development Program for Macy’s Customer and Credit Services, you’ll be responsible for managing a function or specific area within an assigned department. You’ll learn to communicate standards and expectations, monitor and evaluate job performance, implement employee training programs and recommend policy/procedures to maximize effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
What you have the opportunity to do
- Directly manage associates, including supervisors
- Interview, hire and train employees
- Evaluate employee performance and reward achievements
- Plan, forecast and control staffing/budget needs
- Respond to and resolve customer or vendor issues
- Make a presentation to the executive board
