Junior Store Planner

In this entry-level position, you'll assist the store planning team in developing merchandise and floor plans for all new and remodel stores.

What you have the opportunity to do

• Participate in developing block plans and merchandise plans with an eye on budget and scope
• Assist in preparing merchandise meetings with store divisions
• Assist in reviewing consultant drawings for compliance to established Macy's, Inc. CAD drawing standards
• Interpret merchandise meeting information and input into CAD
• Develop and administer minor projects

What to bring to the job

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Architecture, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Design, etc.)
• Co-op or intern experience in a retail planning environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
