Retailology® 101. Through a game-like approach, learn about major retail functions and how they work together at Macy's and Bloomingdale's. Discover important factors that influence sales, margin and profit, and how their individual contribution is part of our overall success.
Performance through People
Making Connections. Develop the skills to effectively orient new hires and build strong connections with your team.
Selecting the Best People. Learn to successfully recruit, interview, select and make job offers to strong candidates through a blended media-based training and simulation program.
Developing People. Identify opportunities for training and coaching your team members. Practice teaching new job skills and leading effective coaching conversations.
Leading Teams. Discover the characteristics of effective teams. Develop the skills to encourage high performance and mutual support in the teams you lead.
Training time varies by division and ranges between 4 and 12 weeks. Timing of training classes can also vary by division to facilitate on-the-job development.
