• Distribution center associates - every day, our 3500 plus associates in 12 locations across the country, do whatever it takes to keep the cartons moving! Generally, that means working with and taking advantage of the latest innovations in the technology that support our distribution centers. Use of the internet to schedule appointments by vendors, receiving paperwork electronically via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems, and even tracking and booking the merchandise automatically as it travels along our miles of conveyor lines when it going through the DSS (Direct Sortation Scanning) equipment. Getting the latest merchandise to the stores as quickly and accurately as possible is our direct contribution to helping create the best shopping experience for our customers.
• Distribution center management - providing the team leadership necessary to run various departments and functions within a distribution operation. Whether it's receiving, stock, delivery or transfer, this group provides the foundation for a productive and fast paced environment to work in.
• Corporate offices - centralized groups, from systems development to human resources to finance, that work in an office setting to coordinate all aspects of a our division's activities. Great ideas are born here and the support to ensure the distribution centers are supported is rooted within this dynamic group.
