At Macy’s, our Field Organization takes the initiatives from Corporate Support
and the Merchant Organization, then executes the plans throughout Macy’s regions
and districts – stretching from the Big Apple to the Big Island of Hawaii, from
the forests of Seattle to the beaches of Miami, and hundreds of points in
between.
The Field Organization plays a key role in tailoring our plans to specific
locations. That’s what the “My Macy’s” initiative is all about – giving
locally-based Field Organization Associates the power to make more and better
decisions to customize a store for its particular community. By ensuring that
the merchandise assortment, visual merchandising, service levels and special
events are just right for the local market, Field Organization Associates help
customers experience the magic of Macy’s on a more personal level.
