What training should I expect if I join the company? Macy's Systems and Technology offers a number of learning tools to suit your personal and professional development plan. Courses are offered in the following areas: Client/Server Application Development, End User Applications, Mainframe, Web Development, Managerial and Personal Development.Macy's Systems and Technology's Training Program includes our Learning Center, Computer Based Training (CBT) and on-site training courses. The Learning Center's library contains information in a variety of media, including CD-ROMs, books, videotapes, and audiotapes, which allow you learn at your own pace. Our CBT courses can be accessed from either your workstation or in the Macy's Systems and Technology Learning Center. We offer a wide variety of on-line courses to suit your technical and/or development needs. Also, Macy's Systems and Technology has an extensive on-site training program to provide you with the skills and tools you will need to expand you personal and technical career goals. What are the opportunities for advancement? Macy's Systems and Technology encourages both the independent contributor career path, as well as the traditional management career path. Vertical growth, expanding your knowledge across Enterprise Wide applications is also encouraged. Choose from a hierarchy of individual contributor roles for Programmer/Analyst and Business Analyst, or become part of the dynamic management team as a Supervisor, Manager or Director.
